Smart City Institute Japan Joined the G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance (GSCA) as an Institutional Partner
Smart City Institute Japan has become an institutional partner with the G20 Global Smart City Alliance (GCSA) on Technology Governance, which was established in June 2019. The World Economic Forum, which serves as the secretariat for GCSA, in collaboration with the G20 presidency, leads a new global effort to establish universal norms and guidelines for implementation of smart city technology. GSCA advances how technology is used in public places and promotes core principles including transparency, privacy and security. This Alliance unites municipal, regional and national governments, private-sector partners and citizens.
